Digital Emergency Medicine @UBC: From COVID to Sustainability
Digital health has been gradually gaining popularity in the last decade, due to improving technologies, increasing public expectations, and increasing interests from health professionals and health policymakers. COVID has caused a massive adoption of digital health, propelling it into the mainstream. This session is to explore how digital health is being incorporated into the health system operationalization in BC, Canada, what lessons we have learned, and how digital health will now become an entrenched part of routine healthcare delivery, thereby permanently transforming our health system in serving our patients.
